The UnCultured Guide to Change | Session #7: Inner Monologue
🎧 [AUDIO INCLUDED]
There’s a nonstop conversation in your head. When it’s fueled by old wounds, it rewrites your worth and quietly caps your future. Today we flip that script. The work: identify the lie, flood it with truth, and rebuild your inner narrative so silence becomes a place of creativity—not chaos.

The One Question
When you sit in silence, what story about your worth shows up first—and is it true?
What’s really running the show
-
At the root: worthiness. Most outcomes sit on top of your body’s stress and your mind’s chatter—both sitting on top of your sense of worth. When worthiness gets pummeled, the inner monologue turns hostile.
-
Trauma is sneaky. It’s not only “big T.” Micro-moments (ages 0–21 especially)—dismissed feelings, a parent’s criticism, a teacher’s shaming—plant lie-statements about who you are.
-
Lies create ceilings. “I’m not important.” “I can’t finish.” “Rest is lazy.” These become rules your nervous system obeys.
-
Only truth burns lies. You can’t time-travel, but you can overload your world—top to bottom—with truth that directly contradicts the old narrative.
